The June lineup for Tech Thursday is here! This June we will be celebrating our 1-year anniversary. A big thank you to our sponsors SkipTheDishes, Neo Financial, Manitoba Tech Accelerator, Norima Consulting, and Amiron Ventures who have made a year of Tech Thursdays possible. Here is the lineup:
June 1st: Fireside Chat on ‘Second Life: Pivoting your Traditional Career into Tech’ with Yacine Bara, VP of Product at Neo Financial, and Grace Lozano, VP of Strategic Development at SkipTheDishes.

Conquest Planning, a technology platform modernizing financial planning, has partnered with Wealthsimple to provide their clients with $500k+ in their accounts with Conquest’s financial planning tools.
Taiv, an ad detection and replacement device manufacturer, has launched The Apex. The Apex is a content channel which will showcase content from worldclass athletes on Taiv’s Partners TV’s.
3Common, an app to schedule your social life with friends, launched their Organizer studio aimed at cutting event platform fees in half, and simplifying the process for organizers by enabling the creation of event pages in 60-seconds or less.
Neo Financial has partnered with Circle K to offer cashback rewards on gas and convenience purchases. Circle K has more than 14,300 stores, of which approximately 10,900 offer fuel.
Project Whitecard and Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak launched Vaccine Quest, a Manitoba-made video game that focuses on making vaccines easier to understand through the use of a video game adventure. The game is available online for anyone to check out.

MITT Software Developer program is seeking employers to host student work practicums this Summer. Students are prepared to work as Junior Full-Stack, Front-End, or Back-End Developers. They 7-week practicums begin on June 26th, 2023.
